design & construction – Conventional Construction Method
D&c unites a network of highly skilled builders and craftsmen to implement the architecture and structural design. By the conventional way of building in Greece, the structural frame of the building is from reinforced concrete, designed according to the European Antiseismic Codes and the walls are filled with bricks.
Energy efficiency is d&c ‘s first step toward achieving sustainability in buildings and organizations. Energy efficiency helps control rising energy costs, reduce environmental footprints, and increase the value and competitiveness of buildings.
Implementing the structural, energy and mechanical studies and designs, the proper external wall insulation, the basement ceiling insulation as well as the floor’s, in combination with energy-efficient windows, create excellent internal thermal conditions.
With all the above, d&c evolved the conventional way of building, by the technology and material development.
