Reconstruction of an apartment on the 5th floor in Kesariani.
The apartment has been totally renovated and repaired, as the layout was radically changed, according the family needs. The apartment features an open plan living room – dining room – kitchen, two bedrooms with dressing room and two bathrooms.
Also, the apartment was energy efficiency repaired. Due to the complete lack of insulation inside the masonry, on the roof slab and the columns, all the external walls have been thermally insulated with the external facade insulation system (5cm of graphite expanded polysterene). The two external walls that “stick” to the property limit, were thermally insulated from the inside and the ceilings, too. The frames are energy efficient white aluminium, double glazed with motorised blinds. A thermal pump was chosen as heating and AC system, in combination with ceiling fan coils. Finally, a Solar Heating Boiler was put on the roof.
Apartment = 102 sq.m.
